Active Magnetic Bearing System Using I-Type and U-Type Actuator

چکیده

An active magnetic bearing (AMB) is an evolving research topic in the industry. Compared to conventional approach, AMB more advantageous and has different industrial applications. The design of this needs be improvised get optimized performance. This leads us focus on better-designed structure actuator, which plays essential role Thus manuscript, we have designed compared I-type U-type actuators’ performances terms their resistance, inductance profile, force profile show characteristics these actuators. These actuators are simulated Ansys Maxwell software, with simulation results. Further, results verified using hardware results, tested used two systems. One current controller achieve stable levitated position rotor. rotor rotated by inserting AC magnet system finally, a rotational attained, its speed observed tachometer for both Both proposed systems simple compact as having single coil power amplifier. axial many high-speed applications they features like less installation space, cost room heat dissipation.
